• Buildings On the census 2001 for the NUTS II
  of Alentejo the enumerators marked on the census
  maps the position and code number of the
  buildings About 400 000 buildings were
  identified in 2001The 2011 Census will identify
  about 4 000 000 and cover 100 of the country
  1/3 of the Portugal surface

• Web application that Focus on the user needs of
  statistical information
• Access to information is universal, free and
  without registration needed
• Among the tools available on the website stands
  out the statistical database, a dynamic database
  that supports more than a thousand indicators,
  and its on permanent updating

• The ArcGisServer application creates the map
  on-the-fly

• The user can customize the maps, i.e. change the
  number of classes, colors, the calculation
  method, breakdown the level
