Roman Clothing
  • For men and women Roman clothing was fairly
    uniform (not many exceptions.)
  • There were a few basic styles and people
    improvised or added things depending on the
    situation an how wealthy (or poor) they were.

Men- Toga
  • at the age of 16 all male citizens could where
    this heavy, cumbersome piece of clothing. It was
    similar to the business suit of today. On certain
    occasions and for different people different
    togas were appropriate.

Men - Tunics
  • When you werent wearing your toga or if you
    werent able to all other Romans would wear a
    tunic. Very basic.
