Iconic 'Got Milk?' tagline replaced
2
"Got Milk?" is one of the most recognizable ad
campaigns of the past 20 years. But the iconic
ads are getting axed as the industry looks for a
new hook to increase milk consumption amid
declining sales. Not only is milk consumption
declining -- with sales down about 1 each year
for the past two years -- consumers also aren't
aware of its other nutritional benefits. Milk is
a rich source of protein. There are 8 grams of
protein in every 8-ounce serving of it. The new
ads, which roll out Tuesday, have the tagline
"Milk Life" and feature ordinary people and tout
milk's protein richness. "We want to show how
milk can help you power through everyday moments
and everyday achievements," said Taibi, whose
agency conceptualized the Milk Life ads.

    whose films include "Stripes," "Ghostbusters,"
"Groundhog Day" and "Analyze This," has died. He
was 69. For more than 40 years, Ramis was a
leading figure in comedy. His death was caused by
    complications related to autoimmune inflammatory
vasculitis, a condition Ramis battled for four
years. Ramis died Monday morning in his
    Chicago-area home.
  • A convicted child rapist apparently cut off his
ankle monitor and left a Colorado group home
where he was serving parole, a state official
said. A fugitive warrant was requested minutes
after Eric Eugene Hartwell, 51, walked away from
"Independence House" in Denver Friday evening,
    Colorado Corrections Department. Hartwell was
convicted of raping a child in 1991 and attempted
indecent liberties in 1996, according to the
Colorado sex offender registry. Law agencies are
working to find Hartwell "as quickly as possible."
