• Subject- Fire Drill Safety Procedures
• Intended Learners- Kindergarten
• Objectives- To learn how to follow directions by
  completing fire safety procedures that are
  necessary to know.
• Directions- Read through all of the lessons to be
  able to pass the quiz.

Be Prepared

• Being at school, you should always be prepared!
• Make sure to listen to all of the directions from
  your teacher during a fire drill to keep you
  safe.
• There are always directions at the front of the
  classroom to tell you where to go if you forget!

Listen

• Listen for the fire alarm!
• If you ever smell smoke or see a fire, pull the
  RED fire alarm!
• If you ever hear a fire alarm, listen to your
  teacher to get you to safety!

911

• The emergency number is 911.
• In ANY EMERGENCY always call 911 for help and the
  police will come.

Keep Quiet

• During a fire alarm always keep quiet!
• It is important to keep quiet and stay calm
  during a fire drill so your teacher can get you
  and the other students to safety!

Windows and Door

• Make sure to close the windows and door before
  leaving!
• Closing the windows keeps out smoke and bigger
  flames.
• Closing the door is important because that means
  that everyone is safely out of the classroom!

Single File Line

• As soon as you hear the alarm, get into a single
  file line for your teacher after the windows are
  shut!
• This is important so that every student can get
  safely outside without getting hurt.

EXIT

• Always look for an EXIT sign for the closest door
  outside!
• Do NOT take any elevators. Always take the stairs!

Meeting Place

• After you exit the building, find your
  classrooms meeting place!
• A meeting place should be far away from the
  building.
• The meeting place will picked together by your
  classmates and teacher. so everyone know where to
  go to get to safety.
