JEAN NTAZINDA, ?LIMATE CONCERN LTD, RWANDA
Joined Incubator in 2013. Problem Access to
electricity is very limited. Many children have
no light by which to do their homework, or have
to use kerosene lamps, the fues of which can lead
to bad health problems. Solution Jean provides
education and distribution of low-cost,
affordable clean energy sola-lamps to children in
rural communities. Story so far During his
participation in the Incubator, more then 5000
children in the two pilot regions are now
benefitting from the clean energy of solar
lamps. Financial sustainability Jean sells the
solar lamps in villages and rural communities and
also provides donation opportunities

• Johan Wendt, Joined Reach for Change incubator in
  Sweden 2010.
• Problem Students dont find traditional math
  education engaging and Sweden as a whole is
  falling behind other nations in math.
• Idea solution A math center a completely
  free, after school tutoring program which is
  completely volunteer run which teaches math in a
  fun, new way.
• Scalability (Scalable Impact) Mattecentrum now
  supports over 155 000 children, with over 70
  weekly tutoring sessions in 27 municipalities in
  Sweden, from Malmö to Luleå, with recent
  expansion into Denmark and an online offering as
  well. Hes also applying the same approach he
  used in math education with his new endeavour
  Kodcentrum, to teach children to code.
• Entrepreneurial Leadership Johan doesnt take no
  for an answer. He often talks about how he
  called and emailed 1000 companies in Sweden
  before he got his first sponsor, and even
  promoted his work to the Swedish parliament,
  challenging each of them to get involved

• Problem Children who are hospitalized for a long
  term and undergo painful procedures experience
  delayed social development, behavioral regress
  and stress.
• Idea solution Partners in joy help to preserve
  childrens right to play and try to relieve
  stress in children staying in hospitals for a
  long period of time, with the help of laughter
  therapy.
• Social Impact for Children Natalia manages to
  reach many children through a wide network of
  trained hospital clowns. They come to every
  child, including the ones after heavy operations
  and the research shows children really recover
  twice faster if they are visited by hospital
  clowns.
• Scalability with the help of her regional
  hospital clowns school Natalia teaches volunteers
  from more then 5 regions of Russia.
