10
Use of scaffolds in supporting learning (Medical
Educators)
  • Used as a prompt
  • Reading materials, case scenarios all very useful
  • Great in providing framework for the group
    session
  • I have reviewed them and used some content to
    support the clinical topics
  • Used as a guide these seem to need to be
    developed further

11
Use of scaffolds in supporting learning
(Registrars)
  • Advanced reading makes discussion enjoyable and
more meaningful. One is able to think over things
    and present at learning groups
  • Very practical for day-to-day practices
    important topics
  • Good to direct us in reading and understand some
things that we are not good at
  • Good to guide discussion - able to focus on key
    aspects
  • Too prescriptive but nice to have some resources
  • Havent used/ not useful/ NA (30 replies)

12
Succession planning
  • Twenty percent of respondents (13) indicated they
would be interested in teaching once Fellowship
    achieved
  • Four of 11 Medical Educators indicated that
probably they would be interested in running a
    learning group next year

13
Further Developments
  • Revision of Scaffolds
  • Addition of directed clinical practice/case based
    learning resources
  • Interprofessional learning groups
