Objectives

• The students will be able to locate where at
  least 3 different kinds of tigers live on a map.
• The students will be able to list at least 3
  different animals that tigers hunt.
• Students will be able to list at least 3
  different types of tigers.
• Students will be able to list 2 or 3 different
  ways they have learned that can help save
  endangered tigers.

Summary

• This unit is all about tigers and their different
  breeds.
• Students will learn everything from where tigers
  live and what they eat to how many tigers are
  left and what we can do to help save them.

Unit of Instruction Evaluation

• Students will be assessed on their knowledge of
  tigers.
• I will assess them through a short essay that
  they write about their favorite tiger.
• The diagram they create in class.
• The PowerPoint presentation that each group of
  children present on their knowledge of a specific
  tiger.

What Have I Learned?

• From making this unit plan I have learned that it
  takes a lot more than just the knowledge we
  obtain in classes. It involves creativity,
  improvisation, and the ability to understand my
  students needs.
• I also learned that I will need to be up-to-date
  in the technology area, for there are many
  different programs that I can use to enrich my
  students learning, provide hands-on activities,
  and help to round my students both knowledge
  and computer literacy.
