Responsibilities of Membership

Qualifications of a Rotarian
  • Be of good moral character
  • Hold or be retired from a professional,
    proprietary, executive, or managerial position

Interact
  • Interact is a service club for young people ages
    14-18. Sponsored by our local Rotary club,
    Interact gives young people an opportunity to
    participate in fun, meaningful service projects
    while developing leadership skills and meeting
    new friends.

Rotaract
  • Rotaract is a service club for young people ages
    18 to 30. Sponsored by our club, Rotaract
    conducts community and international service
    projects, and participates in professional and
    leadership development activities.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
  • In the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
    program, young people ages 14-30, chosen for
    their leadership potential, attend a seminar,
    camp, or workshop to discuss and practice
    leadership skills. Our club selects participants
    and organizes the event.

Building Public Relations
  • Public relations (PR) strengthens awareness of
    club activities for the general public and club
    members. It is the responsibility of each
    Rotarian to promote the good work of Rotary by
  • Wearing a Rotary pin everyday
  • Understanding and discussing the Object of Rotary
    and Rotary programs and activities
  • Sharing the good works of the club and Rotary
    with non-Rotarians through personal and
    professional contacts
