11 Silicosis - In Vietnam, silicosis is
recognized as occupational disease for
compensation since 1976. - The number of
workers having high risk of silicosis is very
high. - 1998 National Action Plan on
silicosis prevention and control having the
objective to reduce the incidence silicosis until
year 2010 and to eliminate it thought out the
country until year 2030.
