Mission / Job summary The Automation Engineer is
responsible for designing, installing,
programming, debugging, and troubleshooting
automated equipment. This position is also
responsible for development, commissioning, and
training of the finishing and assembly
equipments. You will be in charge of the Process
Control Instrumentation systems, Continuous
Conveyor Systems, VFDs and other similar systems.
Required skills, knowledge abilities Ensure
all automated systems are current Implement
automated systems into plant Assist maintenance
personnel in complex troubleshooting Set up and
facilitate automation training for all associates
Responsible for being the primary contact for
error proofing, poke yoke, etc Work Actively in
continuous improvement and corrective action
activities of the lean culture consistent with
the Inergy IPS philosophy

Education Experience Bachelors degree in
Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or
equivalent combination of education and
experience 3 years manufacturing experience,
plastics or automotive preferred
