  • Acrostic- A poem that spells a word vertically
    and then uses each beginning letter as a start
    for that line in the poem.The poem then describes
    the word that goes down.

Limerick
  • 5 lines with an AABBA rhyme pattern. Lines 1,2,
    and 5 are longer than 3 and 4. Its usually about
    a person and funny.

  • The ordeal got the best part of me!

  • 3 line poem with no rhyme scheme. Lines 1 and 3

    is usually about nature.
