11
Genesis 126-23
  • Then God said, "Let us make humans in our image,
after our likeness. And let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea and over the birds of
the heavens and over the livestock and over all
the earth and over every creeping thing that
    creeps on the earth."

12
Genesis 126-23
27 So God created humans in his own image, in the
image of God he created him male and female he
created them. 28 And God blessed them. And God
said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill
the earth and subdue it and have dominion over
the fish of the sea and over the birds of the
heavens and over every living thing that moves on
the earth."
13
Genesis 126-23
29 And God said, "Behold, I have given you every
plant yielding seed that is on the face of all
the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit.
You shall have them for food. And to every beast
of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and
to everything that creeps on the earth,
everything that has the breath of life, I have
given every green plant for food." And it was so.
14
Genesis 126-23
31 And God saw everything that he had made, and
behold, it was very good. And there was evening
and there was morning, the sixth day. 21 Thus
the heavens and the earth were finished, and all
the host of them. 2And on the seventh day God
finished his work that he had done, and he rested
on the seventh day from all his work that he had
done. 3So God blessed the seventh day and made it
holy, because on it God rested from all his work
that he had done in creation.
15
Genesis 24-25
4These are the generations of the heavens and the
earth when they were created, in the day that the
LORD God made the earth and the heavens.  5When
no bush of the field was yet in the land and no
small plant of the field had yet sprung upfor
the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the
land, and there was no man to work the ground,
6and a mist was going up from the land and was
watering the whole face of the ground
16
Genesis 24-14
7then the LORD God formed the man of dust from
the ground and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life, and the man became a living
creature. 8And the LORD God planted a garden in
Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom
he had formed. 9And out of the ground the LORD
God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant
to the sight and good for food. The tree of life
was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil.
17
Genesis 24-14
7then the LORD God formed the man of dust from
the ground and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life, and the man became a living
creature. 8And the LORD God planted a garden in
Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom
he had formed. 9And out of the ground the LORD
God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant
to the sight and good for food. The tree of life
was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil.
18
Genesis 24-14
10A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden,
and there it divided and became four rivers.
11The name of the first is the Pishon. It is the
one that flowed around the whole land of Havilah,
where there is gold. 12And the gold of that land
is good bdellium and onyx stone are there. 13The
name of the second river is the Gihon. It is the
one that flowed around the whole land of Cush.
14And the name of the third river is the Tigris,
which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river
is the Euphrates.

Genesis 215-17
15The LORD God took the man and put him in the
garden of Eden to work it and keep it. 16And the
LORD God commanded the man, saying, "You may
surely eat of every tree of the garden, 17but of
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you
shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it
you shall surely die."

Genesis 218-19
18Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that
the man should be alone I will make him a helper
fit for him." 19Now out of the ground the LORD
God had formed every beast of the field and every
bird of the heavens and brought them to the man
to see what he would call them. And whatever the
man called every living creature, that was its
name.
30
Genesis 220-22
20The man gave names to all livestock and to the
birds of the heavens and to every beast of the
field. But for Adam here was not found a helper
fit for him. 21So the LORD God caused a deep
sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept
took one of his ribs and closed up its place with
flesh. 22And the rib that the LORD God had taken
from the man he made into a woman and brought her
to the man.
31
Genesis 223-25
23Then the man said,   "This at last is bone of
my bones   and flesh of my fleshshe shall be
called Woman,   because she was taken out of
Man."  24Therefore a man shall leave his father
and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and
they shall become one flesh. 25And the man and
his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.
32
Luke 2339-43
39One of the criminals who were hanged railed at
him, saying, "Are you not the Christ? Save
yourself and us!" 40But the other rebuked him,
saying, "Do you not fear God, since you are under
the same sentence of condemnation? 41And we
indeed justly, for we are receiving the due
reward of our deeds but this man has done
nothing wrong." 42And he said, "Jesus, remember
me when you come into your kingdom." 43And he
said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will
be with me in Paradise."

1 Samuel 28
3Now Samuel had died, and all Israel had mourned
for him and buried him in Ramah, his own city.
And Saul had put the mediums and the necromancers
out of the land. 4The Philistines assembled and
came and encamped at Shunem. And Saul gathered
all Israel, and they encamped at Gilboa. 5When
Saul saw the army of the Philistines, he was
afraid, and his heart trembled greatly.
125
1 Samuel 28
6And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD did
not answer him, either by dreams, or by Urim, or
by prophets. 7Then Saul said to his servants,
"Seek out for me a woman who is a medium, that I
may go to her and inquire of her." And his
servants said to him, "Behold, there is a medium
at En-dor."
126
1 Samuel 28
8So Saul disguised himself and put on other
garments and went, he and two men with him. And
they came to the woman by night. And he said,
"Divine for me by a spirit and bring up for me
whomever I shall name to you." 9The woman said to
him, "Surely you know what Saul has done, how he
has cut off the mediums and the necromancers from
the land. Why then are you laying a trap for my
life to bring about my death?"
127
1 Samuel 28
10But Saul swore to her by the LORD, "As the LORD
lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this
thing." 11Then the woman said, "Whom shall I
bring up for you?" He said, "Bring up Samuel for
me." 12When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out
with a loud voice. And the woman said to Saul,
"Why have you deceived me? You are Saul."
128
1 Samuel 28
13The king said to her, "Do not be afraid. What
do you see?" And the woman said to Saul, "I see a
god coming up out of the earth." 14He said to
her, "What is his appearance?" And she said, "An
old man is coming up, and he is wrapped in a
robe." And Saul knew that it was Samuel, and he
bowed with his face to the ground and paid
homage.
129
1 Samuel 28
15Then Samuel said to Saul, "Why have you
disturbed me by bringing me up?" Saul answered,
"I am in great distress, for the Philistines are
warring against me, and God has turned away from
me and answers me no more, either by prophets or
by dreams. Therefore I have summoned you to tell
me what I shall do." 16And Samuel said, "Why then
do you ask me, since the LORD has turned from you
and become your enemy?
130
1 Samuel 28
17The LORD has done to you as he spoke by me, for
the LORD has torn the kingdom out of your hand
and given it to your neighbor, David. 18 Because
you did not obey the voice of the LORD and did
not carry out his fierce wrath against Amalek,
therefore the LORD has done this thing to you
this day. 19Moreover, the LORD will give Israel
also with you into the hand of the Philistines,
and tomorrow you and your sons shall be with me.
The LORD will give the army of Israel also into
the hand of the Philistines."
131

Daniel 12
1"At that time shall arise Michael, the great
prince who has charge of your people. And there
shall be a time of trouble, such as never has
been since there was a nation till that time. But
at that time your people shall be delivered,
everyone whose name shall be found written in the
book. 2And many of those who sleep in the dust of
the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life,
and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
133
Daniel 12
3 And those who are wise shall shine like the
brightness of the sky above and those who turn
many to righteousness, like the stars forever and
ever. 4But you, Daniel, shut up the words and
seal the book, until the time of the end. Many
shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall
increase."
134
Psalm 23
1The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures he
leadeth me beside the still waters.  3He
restoreth my soul he leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name's sake.  4Yea, though
I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil for thou art with me thy
rod and thy staff they comfort me.
135
Psalm 23
5Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies thou anointest my head
with oil my cup runneth over.  6Surely goodness
and mercy shall follow me all the days of my
life and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
for ever.
136
Job 19
23Oh that my words were written!   Oh that they
were inscribed in a book!24Oh that with an iron
pen and lead   they were engraved in the rock
forever!25For I know that my Redeemer
lives,   and at the last he will stand upon the
earth.26And after my skin has been thus
destroyed,   yet in my flesh I shall see
God,27whom I shall see for myself,   and my
eyes shall behold, and not another.   My heart
faints within me!
137
Matthew 22
23The same day Sadducees came to him, who say
that there is no resurrection, and they asked him
a question, 24saying, "Teacher, Moses said, 'If a
man dies having no children, his brother must
marry the widow and raise up children for his
brother.' 25Now there were seven brothers among
us. The first married and died, and having no
children left his wife to his brother.
138
Matthew 22
26So too the second and third, down to the
seventh. 27After them all, the woman died. 28In
the resurrection, therefore, of the seven, whose
wife will she be? For they all had her."  29But
Jesus answered them, "You are wrong, because you
know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God.
30For in the resurrection they neither marry nor
are given in marriage, but are like angels in
heaven.
139
Matthew 22
31And as for the resurrection of the dead, have
you not read what was said to you by God 32 'I
am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and
the God of Jacob'? He is not God of the dead, but
of the living." 33And when the crowd heard it,
they were astonished at his teaching.

1 John 32
Beloved, we are Gods children now. And what we
will be has not yet appeared but we know that
when he appears we shall be like him, because we
shall see him as he is.
142
1 Corinthians 1551-53
Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all
sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment,
in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be
raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For
this perishable body must put on the
imperishable, and this mortal body must put on
immortality.
143
1 Corinthians 1554-57
When the perishable puts on the imperishable,
and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall
come to pass the saying that is written Death
is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is
your victory? O death, where is your sting? The
sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is
the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the
victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
144
Matthew 1336-39
Then Jesus left the crowds and went into the
house. And his disciples came to him, saying,
"Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the
field." 37He answered, "The one who sows the good
seed is the Son of Man. 38The field is the world,
and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The
weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39and the
enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is
the close of the age, and the reapers are angels.

145
Matthew 1340-43
Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with
fire, so will it be at the close of the age. 41
The Son of Man will send his angels, and they
will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin
and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the
fiery furnace. In that place there will be
weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43Then the
righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom
of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Matthew 17 (Transfiguration)
1 And after six days Jesus took with him Peter
and James, and John his brother, and led them up
a high mountain by themselves. 2 And he was
transfigured before them, and his face shone like
the sun, and his clothes became white as light. 3
And behold, there appeared to them Moses and
Elijah, talking with him.

Matthew 17 (Transfiguration)

149
Matthew 17 (Transfiguration)
4 And Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good that
we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents
here, one for you and one for Moses and one for
Elijah." 5 He was still speaking when, behold, a
bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from
the cloud said, "This is my beloved Son, with
whom I am well pleased listen to him."
150
Revelation 79,10
After this I looked, and behold, a great
multitude that no one could number, from every
nation, from all tribes and peoples and
languages, standing before the throne and before
the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm
branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a
loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who
sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"
151
Revelation 713-15
13Then one of the elders addressed me, saying,
"Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from
where have they come?" 14 I said to him, "Sir,
you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones
coming out of the great tribulation. They have
washed their robes and made them white in the
blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before
the throne of God, and serve him day and night in
his temple and he who sits on the throne will
shelter them with his presence.
152
Revelation 716,17
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst
anymore the sun shall not strike them, nor any
scorching heat.17 For the Lamb in the midst of
the throne will be their shepherd, and he will
guide them to springs of living water, and God
will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
153
Luke 16 (Rich man and Lazarus)
22 The poor man Lazarus died and was carried by
the angels to Abrahams side. The rich man also
died and was buried, 23 and in Hades, being in
torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham
far off and Lazarus(AE) at his side. 24 And he
called out, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me,
and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in
water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in
this flame.'
154
Luke 2346
Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said,
"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" And
having said this he breathed his last.
155
Body and Soul to Heaven
Gen 524 Enoch walked with God, and he was not,
for God took him. 2 Kings 211,12 And as they
still went on and talked, behold, chariots of
fire and horses of fire separated the two of
them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into
heaven. And Elisha saw it and he cried, My
father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its
horsemen! And he saw him no more.

Body and Soul to Heaven
Luke 2450-53 When he had led them out to the
vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and

great joy. And they stayed continually at the
temple, praising God.

are ended, Satan will be released from his prison

are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and

like the sand of the sea. 9 And they marched up
over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded
the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but
fire came down from heaven and consumed them, 10
and the devil who had deceived them was thrown
into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast
and the false prophet were, and they will be

The Great White Throne Judgment
Revelation 2011-12 11 Then I saw a great white
throne and him who was seated on it. From his
presence earth and sky fled away, and no place
was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great
and small, standing before the throne, and books
were opened. Then another book was opened, which
is the book of life. And the dead were judged by
what was written in the books, according to what
they had done.

The Great White Throne Judgment
Revelation 2013-15 13 And the sea gave up the
dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the
dead who were in them, and they were judged, each
one of them, according to what they had done. 14
Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of
fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
15 And if anyones name was not found written in
the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of
fire.

New Heaven and New Earth
Revelation 211-8 1 Then I saw a new heaven and a
new earth, for the first heaven and the first
earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2
And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming
down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride
adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud
voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the
dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell
with them, and they will be his people, and God
himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will
wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death
shall be no more, neither shall there be
mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the
former things have passed away."

New Heaven and New Earth
Revelation 211-8 5 And he who was seated on the
throne said, "Behold, I am making all things
new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these
words are trustworthy and true." 6 And he said to
me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will
give from the spring of the water of life without
payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this
heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my
son. 8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless,
the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually
immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars,
their portion will be in the lake that burns with
fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

The New Jerusalem
Revelation 219-27 9 Then came one of the seven
angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven
last plagues and spoke to me, saying, "Come, I
will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb."
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a
great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city
Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, 11
having the glory of God, its radiance like a most
rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12
It had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and
at the gates twelve angels, and on the gates the
names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel
were inscribed 13 on the east three gates, on
the north three gates, on the south three gates,
and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of
the city had twelve foundations, and on them were
the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the
Lamb.

The New Jerusalem
Revelation 219-27 15 And the one who spoke with
me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the
city and its gates and walls. 16 The city lies
four-square, its length the same as its width.
And he measured the city with his rod, 12,000
stadia. Its length and width and height are
equal. 17 He also measured its wall, 144 cubits
by human measurement, which is also an angels
measurement. 18 The wall was built of jasper,
while the city was pure gold, clear as glass. 19
The foundations of the wall of the city were
adorned with every kind of jewel. The first was
jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the
fourth emerald, 2 0the fifth onyx, the sixth
carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth
beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase,
the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. 21
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of
the gates made of a single pearl, and the street
of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass.

Revelation 219-27 22 And I saw no temple in the
city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty
and the Lamb. 23 And the city
