  • An action verb expresses action. The action may
    be physical or mental.

Prepositional Phrases
  • A Prepositional Phrase consists of a preposition,
    the object of the preposition, and any modifiers
    of the object found between. The object of a
    preposition is the noun or pronoun that follows
    the preposition.
