Unequal Opportunities
California schools enrolling 90-100 Latino,
African American, and American Indian students
are far more likely than other California schools
to
  • Be designated by the state as critically
    overcrowded
  • Experience severe shortage of qualified middle
    school teachers
  • Lack qualified high school math teachers for
    college prep math classes.
