  • Make sure you have a title slide. You must have a
table of contents that provides the minimum of
the main idea for each rule. Numbering the rules
is your choice, but remember your rule one may
not be the same as someone elses rule one.
  • Do one of the followingCreate a hyperlink to a
custom show or a location in the current
    presentation
  • Select the text or object that you want to
    represent the hyperlink.
  • Click Insert Hyperlink .
  • Under Link to, click Place in This Document.
  • Do one of the following
  • Link to a custom show
  • Link to a location in the current presentation
  • In the list, select the slide you want to go to.

Items in a Series
  • Do one of the followingInsert an action button
    on a single slide
  • Insert an action button on every slide
  • If you're using one slide master (SLIDE MASTER
THE MAIN SLIDE THAT STORES INFORMATION ABOUT THE
THEME AND LAYOUTS OF A PRESENTATION, INCLUDING
    THE BACKGROUND, COLOR, FONTS, EFFECTS,
PLACEHOLDER SIZES, AND POSITIONS.), you can
insert an action button on the master and the
button is available throughout the presentation.
If you are using multiple slide masters (such as
when you have applied more than one design
template to your presentation), you must insert
the action button on each master.
  • On the View menu, point to Master and then click
    Slide Master.
  • On the Slide Show menu, point to Action Buttons,
and then select the button you want for
example, Home, Back or Previous, Forward or Next,
    Beginning, End, or Return.
  • Click the slide master.
  • In the Action Settings dialog box, set the
actions that you want on the Mouse Click and
Mouse Over tabs, and then click OK.
  • For example, to open the previous slide when the
button is clicked during the slide show, on the
Mouse Click tab, click Hyperlink to, and then in
the drop-down list, select Previous Slide. Click
    OK.
  • Click Close Master View on the Master View
toolbar (TOOLBAR A BAR WITH BUTTONS AND OPTIONS
THAT YOU USE TO CARRY OUT COMMANDS. TO DISPLAY A
