WRT Implementation Activities Best Practices
Campaign
  • Launched WRT Campaign with 1st Retail Industry
    Leaders Association (RILA )_NIOSH Exhibit (May,
    2009. In 2010 with NIOSH Platform Presentation
  • Established MOU with Loss Prevention (LP)
    Foundation in support of safety and health
    training leading to LP Certifications.
  • Negotiation with RILA and LPF to host WRT Best
    Practices Awards for companies that are leaders
    in OS H -2011.

  • Funded 8 Demonstration Studies showing merits of
    ergonomic principles applied to MMH Tasks. Last 3
    to be completed 2010 by North Carolina State Univ
    .with two well known chain stores .
  • Established working partnership with Material
    Handling Industry of America (MHIA) and the
    Material Handling Equipment Distributors
    Association (MHEDA) Supply Ergo Assist Equip
  • Plan MMH workshop with focus on ergonomic
    application to WRT sector, 2010.-2011 with output
    of Simple Solutions.

adjustable float / U-boat to minimize the bending
and stooping required to load/unload these
floats.

minimize horizontal reaches and moment/force on
the back / spine.

adjustable, highly portable device to hold
individual cases, cartons and boxes at a height
which makes stocking store shelves faster, safer
and easier.
