Transitional Compensation
  • Paid when Service Member is separated from Army
    due to an issue of Family violence
  • 3 years of TC (Recent Change)
  • Terminated if couple reconciles
  • Must be married at time of incident and eligible
    children must be in home at time of the
    incident(s)
  • Includes ID cards, Medical and Dental benefits
    and access to exchanges/commissaries
  • Spouse not eligible if co-offender
  • Spouse must re-verify eligibility annually
  • Application Process. Contact VA or JAG for
    assistance.
