The present indicative is a generalized statement
in the present. ie...Amy is eating a sandwich for
lunch today. The present progressive describes an
action that is in process at the moment we are
talking. ie...Amy is eating a sandwich right now.

• Compound verb form
• 2 parts (must have both parts!)
• Present tense forms of ESTAR
• Present Participle of the main verb
• (ing form)

-ar -ando -er/-ir -iendo

Participios irregulares
The first type of irregularity is forming pres.
participles from stem changing verbs. If there
is a two letter stem change just use the first of
the two letters.
