• Students can benefit from summer school
  instruction if
• Allocated time is adequate.
• Summer School - 4 to 6 weeks, 3 hours a day, 4 -
  5 days a week
• On-level small group instruction is provided.
• Assessment is used to determine instructional
  groups.
• Students are grouped based on current reading
  levels using one minute fluency measure and San
  Diego Quick.
• Further grouping is based on program assessments.
