• Oakley, Inc., was founded in 1975 by Jim Jannard
• Jim raised English Setters, his favorite dog was
  one named Oakley
• The company was named in his honor of his dog
  Oakley
• Mr. Jannard acts as the CEO and Chairman of the
  board
• Owns over 62 of Oakley stock
• Oakleys first product line began as handgrips
  for motocross motorcycles
• This lead Oakley to expand into motocross
  goggles in 1980
• In 1984, Oakley produced its first
  high-performance sunglass, the Eyeshades.
