  • As we sleep, random thoughts fly through our
    brain, and the mind tries to make sense of those
    random thoughts, giving us a story line.

Freuds Theory on Dreams
  • Freud believes that your Id is released in your
    dreams and therefore have meaning
  • Your Id must be released in your dream so you do
    not act it out in real life

  • Latent Content- Underlying meaning of a dream.

Lucid Dream
  • A dream in which one is aware that one is
    dreaming.
  • The dreamer may be able to exert some degree of
    control over their participation within the dream
    or be able to manipulate their imaginary
    experiences in the dream environment.
  • Brain Stuff
  • Shown that lucid dreamers can experience
    frequencies of 13-19 HZ
  • Increased amount of activity in the parietal
    lobes making lucid dreaming a conscious process.
