    evidence, form a team of 3-4. Then, use your
    skills of collaboration to
  • Draft a new Equal Rights Amendment to be sent out
    to the states for ratification
  • Goal Improve upon the original text of the
    amendment drafted in 1923 to hopefully earn
    ratification of the 38 states necessary
  • Take into account the initial concerns that
    contributed to the failure to ratify
  • Create materials for a PR campaign sponsored by
    the National Organization for Women (NOW) that
    promotes the passage of the new and improved ERA.
  • Examples include Brochures, buttons/pins,
    editorials, 30-second advertisements, etc.
