• The Quran is a book revealed to the prophet
  Muhammad peace be upon him.

• The Quran was revealed to him when he was 40 in
  the day of destiny (Laylatu-Al-Kadr).

• The first verses revealed to the prophet peace be
  upon him is Iqraa bism rabbiqa from Surah Al
  Alaq

• The Quran is composed of 114 chapters. Each
  chapter is called a Surah.

• Each Surah is composed of a number of Ayahs (
  verse).

• Every Surah starts with Al Basmalah (Bismilahe
  arah many ra heem.) In the name of Allah, the
  most Gracious most Merciful. Except Surah 9
  Attawbah

• The Quran is a book of guidance for all the
  human being.

• The Quran is teaching us about Allah (SWT).

• The Quran is teaching us about previous prophets.

• The Quran teaches us how to please Allah (SWT).

• The Quran is a miraculous book.

• If you read one word from the Quran, you will
  get one Hasana. Each Hasana will be multiplied by
  10.

• You have to read the Quran at least once a month.

• Some scholars state that you are supposed to have
  Wudu before holding the Quran.

• Torah was revealed to Musa (Moses), Injil was
  revealed to Isa (Jesus), Zabur (Psalms) was
