• Best rule of thumb is to let the scriptures speak
  for themselves. Notice Acts 239.

  security, destination
• Thayer- metaphorically, respecting God, who by
  the Holy Spirit indicates who are His.

  ownership, or identity
• A figurative expression of Gods approval and
  ownership. It is manifested by His mark.
  i.e. god-likeness

• To give eternal life by revelation and
  instruction
• To indwell our hearts, minds, lives
• As a pledge that what is promised will be paid
  in full
• As a seal to put Gods mark in our hearts and
