What is Multiculturalism?

• Multiculturalism is a social policy based on the
  ideas of inclusion, recognition and tolerance.
  It recognises that all Australians have a right
  to enjoy their cultural heritage (including
  language and religion) and to receive equal
  treatment and opportunities regardless of their
  background.
