  • McPhersons Ridge
  • Buford, Meredith, Cutler from the Union forced
    the Confederates to retreat back to Herr Ridge
    and reform Then Heths division aided the South
    and forced a retreat from the ridge to the
    Seminary.

July 2, 1863
  • Campsite
  • Col. Chamberlain and a few of his soldiers
    resting and caring for the wounded. They wash
    their wounds in plum run (bloody run) Creek.
    However, they are still watching for the enemy.

July 3, 1863
  • Picketts charge
  • the confederate surged toward cemetary ridge.
    The Union held their position at the top and
    fired down on the confederates, killing all of
    Picketts regiment.
