Bible Baptism Can Put You Into Christ
For you are all sons of God through faith in
Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were
baptized into Christ have put on
Christ (Galatians 326, 27)
BAPTISM BAPTISM BAPTISM

Bible Baptism Can Put You in Contact With The
Blood of Christ
Or do you not know that as many of us as
were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized
into His death? (Romans 63)
BAPTISM
Into Death
Christ shed His blood in His death
John 1933, 34

Bible Baptism Can Put You Into The One Body
For as the body is one and has many members, but
allthe members of that one body, being many,
are one body, so also is Christ. For by one
Spiritwe were all baptized into one body. . .
(1 Corinthians 1212, 13)

Bible Baptism Saves the Soul
Places you in Christ where salvation is (2
Timothy 210) Places you into Christs death
where His saving blood was shed (John 1933,
34) Washes away sin (Acts 2216) Sets free from
sin (Romans 617, 18)

BAPTISM SAVES US
There is also an antitype which now saves
usbaptism (not the removal of the filth of the
flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward
God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ

Baptism has nothing to do with a physical

There is also an antitype which now saves
usbaptism (not the removal of the filth of the

God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ 1
Peter 321
The Power In Baptism Is Not The Water, But
Through The Resurrection!
To contend that baptism is not necessary is to
cast insult upon the resurrection!
16
Therefore, at baptism
We are forgiven of our sins (Acts 238). We are
put into Christ (Acts 238 Gal. 327 Romans
61-6) and his body (I Corinthians 1213). We
call on the name of the Lord and our sins are
washed away (Acts 2216).
We are saved through an appeal to God for a good
conscience (by our obedience to what God has
asked of us we then have a good conscience)
through the cleansing blood of Jesus and the
resurrection of Jesus from the dead (I Peter
321).
17
Therefore, our baptism is
  • An appeal of a good conscience toward God, 1
    Peter 321
  • We appeal to God for salvation
  • Blood cleanses our conscience, Hebrews 914
  • Blood is contacted in baptism, Romans 63
  • Boldly enter Gods presence, Hebrews 1019, 22
  • Without baptism the appeal to come before God
    be saved is denied!

18
Therefore, at baptism
We put on Christ (Galatians 327).
We are buried with Christ and baptized into
His death and rise to live a new life
(Romans 62-4). This must be the time when
Jesus blood covers our sins (note how it is
through the blood of Christ that we have
redemption in Ephesians 17 and Matthew 2628
19
We are united or grown together or become
at one with (sumphutos) Christ and our old self
is crucified with him (Romans 65).
20
We are buried with Him, we were spiritually
circumcised, we put off the old nature which was
offensive to God, and we were raised with Him
through our faith in the power of God, were made
alive with Christ and forgiven our sins
(Colossians 211-13). We are no longer
offensive to God after baptism.
21
Therefore, at baptism
  • Baptized into death of Christ, Romans 63
  • We obtain the benefits of His death
  • Romans 58-10 By His blood we are
  • Justified
  • Saved from wrath
  • Reconciled to God

22
  • Baptized into death to sin, Romans
    64-7 One dies to sin
  • Body of sin is done away, 66-7 (Colossians 2
    11-12)
  • Dead to sin alive unto God (611)
  • When we died with Christ (68)
  • When baptized into death (64-5)
  • Newness of life after baptism, 64

23
Therefore, at baptism
We are given the promise that we will live with
Him Now if we died with Christ we will also
live with Him (Romans 68). Hence we are
assured of our own resurrection in the future.
24
We are born again (born from above), John 33-5.
We receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 238) who renews
us and saves us through His sanctifying work
(2 Thessalonians 213).
25
Therefore, at baptism
  • We are Baptized into one body, the church, 1
    Corinthians 1212-13
  • Added together, Acts 241
  • Added by the Lord, Acts 247
  • Added by obeying the Spirits command to be
    baptized, 1 Corinthians 1212-13
