What is Mediation?
  • A process whereby a neutral third party acts to
    encourage and facilitate the resolution of a
    dispute between two or more parties where they
    can reach a mutually acceptable and voluntary
    agreement. The decision making authority rests
    with the parties in conflict.
  • Conflict is an inevitable part of our lives, and
    mediation can play a vital role in the peaceful
    resolution of such conflicts.

  • Encourages parties to take responsibility
  • Fosters joint problem solving
