networks that serves billions of users worldwide.

of private, public, academic, business, and
government networks, of local or global scope. - INTERNET Carries information from the
inter-linked documents from the Worldwide Web
(WWW) (a.k.a. the Web) and supports the
infrastructure for Electronic mail in the
Electronic Age.

accessible to the public. Prior to that,
INTERNET access was limited to the government and
the academia.
