Process
FP7 as funding agency for research. Specific
areas activity lines and themes that provide
funding for research on a European level
During the execution of the project there is a
continuous financial and management control of
the project, and the coordinator has to stay in
contact with partners as well as the EU.
Researcher has a research question (hypothesis)
with a scientific and societal relevance
After submission, when a proposal is granted, the
negotiations with the EU start and a consortium
agreement between the partners in the project has
to be drawn up.
The scientific ambition needs to be translated
into a research proposal and, in collaboration
with other European partners (Scientific and
Industrial), the researcher has to write down a
detailed description of the plan of work.
