Slide Layout Tips
  • Use pre-fabricated layouts provided by the
    program
  • Reduces problems and stress
  • Conserves time
  • Placeholders are pre-programmed
  • Tab button reduces font and changes bullet style
  • Automatically changes font sizes based on
    placeholder size
  • Backgrounds
  • Can be a distraction
  • Try to get something related to the presentation
  • Make sure it doesnt overshadow the text
  • Can brighten or switch to grayscale to reduce
    competition with text

  • Centering is good for titles or you can
    experiment, but be consistent
  • Left justify info
  • Use two columns if you have lots of info
  • Do not Justify info, it spaces it real s h it

  • To ensure proper centering move the edges of the
    textbox to the edges of the slide
  • Do not use the space bar to center
  • or move over!

  • Can slow down the presentation
  • Dont use crawl or swivel, they can go way too
    slow and cause awkward pause during your
    presentation
  • Dont use random because you may get bad ones and
    it changes every time so you wont know what to
    expect
