3. Spiritual Warfare
  • For we are not contending against flesh and
blood, but against the principalities, against
the powers, against the world rulers of this
present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of
wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians
    612)
  • No, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through him who loved us. (Romans
    837)

4. Surrender
  • And for all the work to be done by craftsmen,
gold for the things of gold and silver for the
things of silver. Who then will offer willingly,
consecrating himself today to the LORD?" (1
    Chronicles 295)
  • Again, for the second time, he went away and
prayed, "My Father, if this cannot pass unless I
drink it, thy will be done." (Matthew 2642)

5. Release of the Holy Spirit
  • But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit
has come upon you and you shall be my witnesses
in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Sama'ria and to
the end of the earth. (Acts 18)
  • We know that in everything God works for good
with those who love him, who are called according
    to his purpose. (Romans 828)

7
6. Repentance
  • But if we walk in the light, as he is in the
light, we have fellowship with one another, and
the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all
    sin. (1 John 17)
  • Yet even now," says the LORD, "return to me with
all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and
    with mourning (Joel 212)

7. Forgiveness
  • And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you
have anything against any one so that your
Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your
    trespasses. (Mark 1125)
  • In him we have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the
riches of his grace 8 which he lavished upon us.
    (Ephesians 17-8)

8. Scripture Reflections
  • Now, behold, I release you today from the chains
on your hands. If it seems good to you to come
with me to Babylon, come, and I will look after
you well but if it seems wrong to you to come
with me to Babylon, do not come. See, the whole
land is before you go wherever you think it good
and right to go. (Jeremiah 404)
  • As you begin your scripture reflections, just say
simply, Lord, please speak to me through Your
    word today.

9. Wait For The Lord To Speak
  • Be still before the LORD, and wait patiently for
him fret not yourself over him who prospers in
his way, over the man who carries out evil
    devices! (Psalm 377)

11
10. Intercessions
  • First of all, then, I urge that supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made
for all men, (1 Timothy 21)

12
11. Petitions
  • Let us then with confidence draw near to the
throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and
find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews
    416)
  • Ask, and it will be given you seek, and you
will find knock, and it will be opened to you.
For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks
finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
    (Matthew 77-8)
