TYPES OF FINGERPRINT IMPRESSIONS
  • LATENT PRINTS Impressions that are transferred
    to as surface by oil, sweat, blood, or other
    substance on the ridges of the fingers. These
    may be
  • VISIBLE
  • INVISIBLE
  • PLASTIC PRINTS Impressions made by touching a
    plastic-like substance (butter, wax, grease,
    clay, etc.) to leave a 3D form of a print.
  • ELIMINATION PRINTS Prints taken to eliminate
    surrounding suspects.
