Estuary Partnerships - successes and failures

• Approximately 50 Coastal Partnerships have been
  formed since the early 1990s
• There have been varying levels of ambitions and
  successes in these initiatives, but some have
  ceased to exist in recent years
• None of the Coastal Partnerships have any
  statutory powers they rely on the good will of
  the partners
