3. NEXT DELEGATE!
  • Decide how your group will work.
  • I suggest that you split the terms among the
    group and assign a few to each member. Then you
    can blend the final shows together.
  • Have one person send me the final show but
    everyone in the group must keep a copy in case
    someone is missing on presentation day.
  • A Flash drive will be helpful in these transfers.
    They are cheap and necessary for the
    college-bound student.

  • Googling will slow you down.
  • Go back to the WHHS SAT Page where you got this
    file and look at the sources I have found for
    you. Robertsons Words is very useful, but only
    if you SCROOL DOWN THE PAGE and pay attention
  • You must work with the computer it will not
    work by itself.

  • Define the word root in the space allotted.
  • In the Derivatives box, list 3-5 words with full
    definitions. Pick useful and interesting ones in
    SAT vocabulary level.
  • Add a 5-10 word list of associated words in the
    List box - may use simple to complex words.
  • Find 1-2 Brand name or notable uses of the word
    root in popular culture.

NSync - To be in sync in music means to be in
harmony. The boy band called NSync was known
for close 5-part harmony. Chronic is a street
name for Marijuana, particularly that of a high
potency or quality (this connection is made when
the term is used colloquially as a vague
expression of disapproval bad, intense, severe,
objectionable.)
