Title: First Semester Science Review

1
First Semester Science Review
2
1. Ty wanted to see if the temperature of the
ball effected the height of the bounce.
Hypothesis the temperature of the ball does
effect the height of the bounce.
  • Room temp average bounce is 40 cm
  • Freezer temp average bounce is 12 cm
  • Heat lamp temp. average bounce is 54 cm
  • 1. What is a good problem?
  • 2. What is a good conclusion?
  • 3. What is the control?
  • 4. What is/are the independent variable(s)?

3
  • 1. PURPOSE Does the temperature of the ball
effect the height of the bounce?
  • 2. I accept my hypothesis, the temperature did
effect the height the ball bounced. At freezing
it average only a 12 in. bounce and at room
temperature 40 in. bounce and with extra heat a
    54 in. bounce.
  • 3. Room Temperature
  • 4. Temperature with heat lamp, freezer room
    temperature.

How Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cells differ
  • Prokaryotic cells do NOT have a membrane around

    do NOT have organelles.

nucleus, so they have a nucleus. Eukaryotic

    therefore, they do have organelles.
