Assumptions

• Hardware concerns tracked and ranked by Project
  Science Team (GSFC)
• Concerns not yet ranked for risk
• Not all concerns presented in next slide, just
  the more general and important ones
• SDR algorithm is complex, however
• No fundamental issues exist at this time
• Most risks related to verification
• ATMS risks not covered yesterday (except one) We
  ran out of time

Top 11 Concerns

• Test reports for each CrIS pre-flight test should
  be made available (beyond MDR viewgraphs)
• Preflight testing logs and characterization data
  should be made available to NNPP ST
• Relationship between pre-flight and in-flight
  tests and SDR algorithm LUT requirements not well
  defined
• Spectral stability under variable thermal vacuum
  conditions not demonstrated.
• Spectral calibration using Neon lamp compared to
  gas cell not demonstrated
• Instrument Line Shape should be measured using
  Lasers in all 3 bands
• SDR modules need Acceptance Test Procedure
• MATLAB SDR code should be maintained in order for
  NNPP ST to be able to make recommendations
• Current architecture with LUTs embedded in
  product not amenable to reprocessing
• Size of granule may be an issue if too small
• Microwave Sidelobes should be measured in the
  laboratory
