  • Clinic dispensary opened in 1893.
  • Full-fledged hospital opened 1912
  • Hospital has 150 beds, maternity ward, TB Ward,
    Pediatrics Ward
  • Currently no full-time Doctor
  • Nurse practitioner attends to all medical needs
    procedures.
  • More than 20 outreach rural clinics posts
  • Childrens Home on hospital premises (Orphanage)
  • Hospital trains primary care nurses
  • Acute shortage of equipment, facilities
    supplies

Home)
  • Houses 50 orphans -
  • Infant to 18 years old.
  • One or both parents died of AIDS complications
  • Some abandoned by poor relatives
  • One building w/ female male sleeping rooms,
    baby nursery, kitchen dining room.
  • Theyattend day care on premises and older kids
    attend mission school

  • Formal arrangements structure needed for future
    giving.
  • Options include working with the UCCZ Head office
    or local NGOs.
  • Husband wife missionaries from New England area
    scheduled to serve at Mount Selinda Mission
    starting September 2009 - May assist to
    coordinate monitor things on the ground.
