• In the 1900s the newspaper in Milwaukee was The
  Milwaukee Free Press.

• People had to walk or use a horse and carriage

• Goods were transported by ships or trains.

• Solomon Juneau was the first mayor of Milwaukee.
• Solomon and his council met in City Hall to make
  laws.
