  • This is a very special tour for me and my
    friends which I hope we will be able to do
    together.
  • The tour takes you to all sites connected
    with the last days of the extended Imperial
    family.
  • I have chosen to call it a pilgrimage-tour
    because for the many Romanov enthusiasts, the
    places on our route are the places of worship and
    places to say a thanking prayer to the last
    Russian Imperial family.

  • Afternoon Highlight tour of
  • the Capital of the Ural mountains incl. a visit
    to the Church on the Blood of all the Russian
    Saints built on the spot of the former Ipatyev
    House, execution site of the last Russian Emperor
    and his family.

Alapaevsk
  • July,15 7.30 a.m. Travel to Alapaevsk by bus
    (180 km from Yekaterinburg, founded in 1781).
  • Day tour includes
  • Visit to Alapaevsk mine ( The monastery is being
    built on the spot).
  • Visit to the Holy Trinity Cathedral (dates back
    to early 1700s), where the bodies of 5 Grand
    Dukes and the Grand Duchess Ella were buried on
    the 5th of October 1918. When the Red Army was
    approaching Alapaevsk in 1919, the bodies were
    removed to Chita, then to Peking.

  • July, 16 Pilgrimage to Ganina Yama and
    attendance of the memorial service at the
    Monastery of the Holy Royal Passion Bearers. All
    day event.

  • July,17 6.44 a.m. Departure from Yekaterinburg
    to Tymen by train (No 840) (326 km)
  • 11.25 a.m. Arrival to Tymen. Transfer to
    President Hotel.
  • 2.30 p.m.-5.30 p.m. City Highlight tour includes
  • Visit to the house where the nanny of Nicholas II
    used to live
  • Visit to Russias gold reserve
  • A place where Lenins body used to be hidden
    during the WWII.

    Mikhail Romanov was murdered
  • A tour of the only Museum of the History of the
    Political Repressions in the former
    campPerm-36(village of Kutchino, located 120 km
    from Perm). The camp was first established in
    1946 and closed only in 1988.

Verkhoturye and village of Merkushino
  • Pilgrimage route to visit several sites
    connected to the life and feats of righteous
    Simeon.
  • St. Simeon was a saint worshipped all over
    Russia. Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims used to
    come to Merkushino and Verkhoturye every year.
    Grand Duchess Elizabeth also visited this area.
    Members of the Royal Family were known to worship
    the Righteous Simeon praying in front of his icon
    and asking for his assistance in difficult times.
  • The pilgrimage in the land of St. Simeon begins
    from Merkushino village (50 km from Verkhoturye)
    where he spent his life and where in the end of
    the XVII century his imperishable relics were
    found to visit the churches in the villages of
    Kostyleva and Putimka built on the spots where
    the procession of transferring his holy relics
    from Merkushino village to the town of
    Verkhoturye would stop on the way in 1704, and
    finally the pilgrimage could be ended by viweing
    his holy relics contained in the oldest in Ural
    St. Nicholas monastery of Verkhoturye.
