Objectives (1 minute)

• To understand what the playlist is
• To be aware of the link between the playlist,
  danceometer and database
• To choose appropriate software
• To start the playlist

Recall exercise

• Split into 6 groups of 5 people
• Your aim is for the team to reproduce what is on
  the hidden sheet
• Each person will get 10 seconds to look at the
  sheet
• They will then be able to draw on their sheet
• People will get called up in 15 second intervals
• You have 2 minutes in total

What is the playlist?

• Personalised list of songs they would like to
  dance to
• Based on the answers to the questions in the
  Danceometer
• You need to two playlists one for you and one
  for someone else
• Get two sets of results from your Danceometer
  one for you and one for a partner
• 5 minutes

Finding matching tracks

• All of the available tracks are in the database
• You need to use queries to find the data
• Demo of queries
• Use the output of your danceometer, to choose
  what to search for
• Run at least two queries to find a list of
  suitable tracks
