Band Introduction

• The Full Count Big Band was established in May of
  2003 under the
• direction of Ken Fink. Ken has toured all over
  the world with many
• Prominent musicians. He plays regularly with
  local blues, jazz and big
• bands, and has a degree in Music Education.
• Full Count is available for concerts including
  those
• targeting a specific era. We also play and are
  available for
• Street Fairs, private parties, swing dances,
  weddings,
• society and corporate functions.

Band Bio

• We are a contemporary big band with five saxes,
  four trombones, four
• trumpets, and completing this dynamic ensemble,
  piano, synthesizer,
• bass, drums and guitar. We are the professional
  division of the New
• Jersey Workshop for the Arts based in Westfield
  New Jersey. Ken Fink
• (on tenor sax,) is our Director.
• Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Buddy
  Rich, Woody Herman to
• name a few popular band styles, from nostalgic to
  modern jazz all come
• alive when Kenny counts off the first tune.
• Variety is what we're all about, so now change
  the calendar from the 40's
• and 50's to the 80's and 90's and introduce the
  sounds of groups like
• Tower of Power and Earth, Wind and Fire!
• Wow! Bright lights, fast dancing, Jazz Rock,
  Modern Funk for todays
• tastes. We play it all!
