English translation of the Hymn Look at the sky

Have you quietly looked up on high? And meditated
on a cross joining Heaven and Earth? On it youd
see love revealed through bleeding
wounds Nevertheless forgiving His crucifiers,
Pleading and praying on their behalf.
2 Refrain Moving mountains (of sin) He calls
with a voice that touches the hearts. Spreading
peace, radiating light so Even the blind could
see. Of the eyes of the poor He wipes torrents
of tears. The sorrows of the mourning He replaces
with comfort. Forgiving all sins He heals body
and soul Taking away on Himself all suffering
and misery 2 Refrain Have you tasted peace?
Have you enjoyed the salvation? From Christ who
through His blood Lavished His gifts on you He
willingly became impoverished, in order to enrich
the poor To man He came the light that shines
