  • Johnson County Landfill to close no later than
    2027.
  • Takes 82 of Johnson County MSW.
  • KS-MO waste disposal split is 60-40.
  • Currently, no large landfills are planned to be
    built.
  • Other landfill disposal options are much farther
    away.
