Habitat for Humanity International
  • Founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller in Americus, GA
  • Habitat for Humanity (HFH) is an international,
    nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry
  • Using donated money, materials and property and
    volunteer labor, our purpose is to build with and
    sell to families who could not otherwise afford a
    home and whose present housing is inadequate
  • Over 2,300 Affiliates in 92 countries, including
    all 50 states and has built over 200,000 houses
    around the world

    affordable homes in partnership with families in

  • Mortgage payments are about 400/month over a
    term of 25-30 years

    community programs actively support Heartland
    Habitat for Humanity

  • HHfH has been investing in communities for over
    20 years
  • In WyCo alone, over 125 homes have been completed
  • In 2006, HHfH WyCo homeowners paid an estimated
    174,000 in total property taxes
  • Nearly 10 million has been added to the countys
    tax base since 1989
