Our Project
  • Build a purely solar-powered study cabin.

Specifics
  • Maximize power produced by the panels by using
    unneeded power to pump water to an elevated pool.
  • When solar power is lacking (i.e., cloudy day,
    night, etc) water from the pool would be allowed
    to flow down past a power-producing turbine.

Goals
  • Determine if the following design is practical
    and efficient.
  • Show that saving money by using the
    following design is feasible.
  • Show that mankind need not be dependent on
    ever-depleting fossil fuels.
  • Make statistical data available to others so
    that they may see if designs are practical on a
    larger scale.
