RECOMMENDATIONS CORTE MADERA LIBRARY

Recommended Option A Renovation and Expansion on
current site Renovate and expand the current
facility. An addition to the current facility
may need to be two-stories with the meeting room
on the second floor. Parking expansion may or
maynot be possible with this option.
DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OPTION CORTE MADERA
Upgrade of facility at existing site addition
7
Recommended Option B New Facility on existing
site Demolish the existing building and construct
a new, expanded facility on existing site. This
may include building in the same location on the
site as the current facility or re-master
planning the site. Parking options may include
surface-only (which would limit the number of
additional spaces that could be added) or a
combination of underground or under-building with
surface parking.
