Why EHDC is supporting MATiSSE Based on the
MATiSSE 2006 pilot findings, an extra 270,000
previously car commuting Teleworkers across the
SE achieves per Month

• Driving time reduction of over 4 million hours
• Commuting mileage reduction in excess of 20
  million miles
• Fuel cost savings of 2.75 million
• CO2 emissions reduction of 8750 tonnes
• Tripling the number (the RES 2016 goal) saves
• 1 billion peak-time road miles per annum
