  • Class begins when the bell stops ringing.
  • The expectation is that you are in your seat and
    working no more than two minutes after the bell
    rings.

  • Each day there will be a dispatch activity for
    you to complete when class begins.
  • Expectations You are expected to be in your
    seat working on the morning activity.
  • This is usually a quiet activity.

  • On-task behavior means
  • Doing what is expected, doing your best.

  • Classroom library books need to be checked out
    from the teacher.
  • They need to be returned to the teacher.

Where does your backpack belong? Under your desk
or in your locker

  • The materials you are expected to have in class
    each day are something to write with , paper,
    and your agenda

  • Class work and homework should be turned in to
    the work basket unless otherwise directed.

  • To ask a question or make a comment you need to
    raise your hand.

  • Restroom - You need to ask permission You need to
    take a pass when you go.
  • Tissue You may get a tissue whenever
  • you need to. Please put them in a trash can when
    you are finished with them.
  • Pencil Sharpener You may sharpen your pencil at
    any time someone is not standing in front of the
    room talking or we are having a class discussion.

  • Counselor To see a counselor you must fill out
    a request and put it in her box before school, at
    lunch or after school.
  • Gum you may not chew gum in the classroom.
  • Hats/Hoods You may wear a hat or have your hood
    on as long as I can
  • see your face.

  • Using computers is a privilege. You are expected
    to stay on task while working on the computers.
  • Inappropriate use of the computers or off-task
    behavior will result in loss of computer
    privileges for a specified amount of time.
  • Treat the equipment appropriately, no food or
    drink near it. If it breaks we are out of luck!

    consequences
  • 1. Loss of Internet access for 5 days.
  • 2. Loss of computer use for 5 days.
  • 3. Loss of Internet access for 10 days.
  • 4. Loss of computer access for 20 days.
  • 5. Loss of computer access for the
  • remainder of the school year.

  • The one rule in this class is that no one may
    interfere with the learning, safety or well-being
    of others. This means treating adults, your
    classmates, and the property of others with
    respect.
  • The purpose of Make Your Day is to help you
    become responsible young adults by being
    accountable for your actions.
