Definition
PEG APPROVED CHANGES Provides for a security
program that protects personnel, facilities, and
critical assets. Antiterrorism applies defensive
measures used to reduce the vulnerabilities of
individuals and property. Funds support the
following antiterrorism management,
antiterrorism training and awareness efforts,
protection of designated high-risk targets (HRT),
the protection of High Risk Personnel (HRP)
including protective service details (PSD) and
advance work, Combatant Commands (COCOM)
antiterrorism staff, implementation of random
antiterrorism security measures program (RAMP),
implementation of Force Protection Condition
(FPCON) system, conduct of antiterrorism
exercises, assessment of terrorist threat,
assessment of vulnerability of personnel and
facilities (to include AT Operational
Assessments) to terrorist acts, and other such
measures which defend against the terrorist
threat and do not easily fit into other security
categories. This code excludes computer network
security (see MDEP MS4X) excludes COMSEC (see
MDEP MX5T) and excludes security guards (see
xxxx75.L0).
